Dual front passenger advanced airbags
Santa Fe’s front seatbelt pretensioners tighten the driver and front passenger shoulder belts during a frontal impact. This reduces the occupants’ forward movement and helps position them for optimal effectiveness of the airbags.

ENGINE

The all-aluminium alloy V6 petrol engine features a variable intake system and variable valve timing for economy with power. With a displacement of 2.7 litres, it produces power of 138kW(188 ps) at 6,000rpm and torque of 248N.m(25.3 kg/m) at 4,200 rpm. The transmission choice is a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic.

The optional automatic transmission can operate in a fully automatic mode, or, at the flick of the shift lever, more like a manual. The combination is ideal for stop-start urban conditions as well as for more spirited driving when the traffic will allow it.
